First Post!

I am so ecstatic to get this started.  Black beauty is something that isn't acknowledged and even downplayed by the media.  Having gone natural over 6 year ago, I'm tired of seeing relaxers, weaves, and extensions as part of our standard of beauty or as some people say, "It's the style."  It's time for us to be whole in who we were and in the way that God made us.  The purpose of this blog is to provide support, camaraderie, and guidance when transitioning into the natural beauty whom we were born to be.  I knew nothing when I first became natural, but now 6 years into the game, I have some pointers to pass on.  Also, there's ton more that I can learn from other people. So feel free to post pictures, advice, constructive criticism, etc.  I just ask that you please keep it positive.  With that said, let's start celebrating natural beauty!
